The DCI trip is approaching quickly. If you are interested in
attending the finals in Bloomington, Indiana and you need tickets or rooms,
call/contact Todd Taylor to check availability. The Band Assoc. has a limited
number purchase.
The students tickets are covered.
The plan is to travel Saturday
morning, attend finals Saturday evening
and spend one night south of Bloomington and return Sunday
(Departure and arrival times will be available later.)

Prop 'Work' Meeting

BAND COMPETITION AD SALES!
Six
volunteers are needed to form a committee to assist in Competition Program ad
sales. These people will attend a
couple meetings and communicate via email on sales of local business
advertising.
The information for sales will be provided. It entails distributing info and
forms to local business. All will be explained in the first committee
meeting.
No sales experience is required at all..... it requires manpower.
We need parent involvement. Only 3 months until event time..... 2 months to
have the program printed..... please step up and help! Sign

Below is the schedule for Band Camp
Parents are reminded to make arrangements for students meals.
July 14th
- Flags and Drums will begin. - 9AM - 5PM
(lunch 12-1, no dinner)
July
21st - 1ST Full Band Camp week will begin from
9am until 5pm
(lunch 12-1 , no dinner)
July
28th - 2ND Full Band Camp week will begin from
9am until 8
pm
(lunch 12-1, dinner 4-6)
Band Fees are due by the start
of Band Camp on July 14th.
If you have not already paid, please make arrangements to forward your payment
by contacting one of our Co-Presidents or Treasurer.
(If you
are working events, please forward the amount per the fee listing.)

The Marching Rebels will be selling the used marching band uniforms that we
have used for the last few years. We have 100 uniform sets for sale.
They are BLACK, GOLD and WHITE w/BLACK BIB TROUSERS.
No school identifier!.... they are sharp. Some never worn!
Very inexpensive way to outfit a band with a 'new look'.
Pictures available upon request.

** We are STILL in need of a coordinator for the Funnel Cake
Booth.
If you have an interest in this project.... please contact one of the
Co-Presidents for details. The 2008 Band Fees will be waived for the parent
that heads this committee.

Parents can sell 'truck sponsorships' at the rate of 'one
event = one sponsorship'. The expense of traveling with a
tractor/trailer is very high. Theses sponsorships are important to the vehicle operation and
maintenance.

can work ‘selected’
events that count toward the parents total.
